Structural Home Inspection Certification
Structural Design Solutions Limited provides a service to homeowners and homebuyers who require a structural inspection of their property; for mortgage purposes, to provide advice for property valuation, or to assess wind, earthquake, fire, blast or collision damage.
A structural inspection comprises a visit to the property to ascertain the adequacy of its structural elements, and the preparation of a Structural Report. During the visit, a ‘house walk through inspection’ is carried out to assess the structural significance of any cracking or other damage observed on visible areas of wall, floor and ceiling. This inspection is limited to exposed and accessible areas, with no damage being caused to the building’s fabric and no excavations carried out to reveal building foundations. Such intrusive investigations would normally form part of a follow-up inspection, if this were considered necessary.

All Structural Design Solutions Limited structural inspections are undertaken by a fully chartered engineer with M.I.Struct.E. qualification.
