Structural Design Solutions Limited has extensive cumulative knowledge of providing the structural design service desired by the ‘Design and Build’ Contractor, gained during the period from the earliest ‘Turn Key’ Contracts of the 1970s to date.
Our experiences in this field cover a vast and diverse array of projects, including prestigious residential developments, housing association enterprises, city centre office blocks, retail parks, business park nursery units, industrial buildings and warehouse units.
We believe in developing a close liaison with the Contractor, ensuring that programme demands are fully understood and met with the timely issue of structural information.
At the pre-tender stage we would give careful consideration to the Client’s outline specification and any other relevant documentation, to enable us to advise on the optimum structural solution, whether this be a concrete, timber or steel building frame or loadbearing masonry. This advice would include probable foundation solutions, based on available geotechnical information and local knowledge.
Following the successful tender bid we would provide structural arrangement and detail drawings, with calculations to satisfy the Local Authority, investors and any other interested party, together with advice on site matters, as and when required.
